Every Yeezy Boost Released and Resell Value 2019

Ever since the rumor sparked that Kanye West left Nike and was going to work with the famous German sportswear company Adidas at the beginning of 2013, people knew that the product of that iconic collaboration will be viral, to say the least. And needless to say that they were not disappointed when the duo dropped the first Boost sneaker in February 23th of 2015. Yeezy season one was loved and promoted by many celebrities and of course, the creator himself rocked his footwear every day.

The Original Yeezy Boost 750 and the following styles of sneakers got the attention of the whole world and Kanye West’s brand became the most desirable one in every sneakerhead’s collection. In short; it became the iPhone of sneakers. People started queuing up outside the world’s most famous sneaker stores during every release of the iconic collaboration. The secret of this success was, of course, the hype surrounding the brand. The social media hype is Kanye West’s strongest side. He is a master of creating viral pieces that fluid social media and become “IT” items.

Many brands started copying the unique designs and the market of duplicates was flooded by cheaply made, but identical Yeezys. People were and still are buying the duplicates because they might not afford the original ones but they also want to wear the hyped shoes like everybody else in the world. Although in the last year or so, many other brands started coming up with statement sneakers, Yeezy is still thriving and staying as a leader in the sneaker game. As much as Kanye West is facing backlash for his controversial Twitter rants, his brand is still doing great. This year, Yeezy was ranked in ninth place in a list of the “hottest brands” created by the Business of Fashion and famous fashion search platform Lyst. It will always stay a classic brand of the “sneaker century”, moreover, resale is a big future for those who own the original designs. So if that is what you are interested in, we are happy to tell you that here we have the full list of every Yeezy Boost sneaker ever released with resale prices and other details.

2018 was the year of chunky and bold dad sneakers. They took over the streetwear scene and made their way into other styles as well. These huge sneakers are still a thing in 2019s fashion because people loved them and they are not ready to part with this unique trend.

Kanye West, of course, didn’t let this trend go and Yeezy became a huge part of it with Yeezy Boost 700s. These sneakers received praise amongst sneakerheads and everyone who appreciates street style. Many would not know that Yeezy Boost 700s were actually featured in Yeezy Season 5 Fashion show in February of 2017. Then they were officially released on August 12th of 2017 for $300 exclusively via the Yeezy Supply online store in highly limited quantity. So it is safe to say that Yeezy is actually one of the few veterans of the so cold “dad shoe”. Now every brand is making their version of these sneakers but back then when the trend was just starting to appear, it was quite risky to release a completely new silhouette. Unlike other Yeezy sneakers releases, the Waverunners didn’t sell out quickly at first as people are always skeptical about new designs in fashion. Some even made fun of the shoe online and many people even hated them.

But after many celebrities such as Chance The rapped wearing them, the hype for these shoes eventually begun to build. In 2018, the Waverunners became one of the trendiest shoes of the year. Social media was flooded by the pictures of celebrities and regular people wearing them in the day to day life or during fashion weeks.

  • Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Mauve”

With high success comes the need for restocking and new colorways. Mauve was the second release which didn’t have the success of the first one but is still a popular shoe around sneakerheads. Three other colorways are set to release in Spring 2019.

Yeezy Boost sneakers had a huge impact on footwear fashion especially in street style and they will always stay in fashion history, they will always be recreated, duped and will remain as a source of inspiration for other brands. Whether you own a pair or want to purchase one of these styles mentioned above, or you are simply interested in fashion, it is important to know what value these shoes have.
